The Blogger Anura Guruge

December 2012.

Anura Guruge, who resided in Hampshire from 1974 to 1981 (and was an avid member of the Hampshire C.C.), has lived in New Hampshire since 1986 — with some form of domicile in the Lakes Region since 1991.

These days he is primarily a professional writer and a part-time, published papal historian with a couple of relatively popular papacy-related blogs. Of late his interests are shifting towards astronomy and he intends to publish at least another book on that topic. His biggest problem in life is that he has too many interests that he wants to actively research and write about: popes, astronomy, the brain, time, calendars, orgasms (yes you read that right) and Buddhism. In addition he also has a keen interest in: cricket, standup paddle boards, politics, the stock market, Golden Retrievers, Indian elephants and big cats.

If you are really curious, you can check out his Web site: www.guruge.com or do a ‘Google‘ on his name.

He is the author of 15 books (4 just in Kindle ebook form): 6 on popes (3 of them Kindle editions), 5 on technology and 3 children’s books — one of them on ‘Dwarf Planets’. His name appears on the cover of a few more as a joint author or editor.

You can contact him at: anu@wownh.com.

Thank you.
Anura
